WatchDOGS
One of our goals this year at Chisholm Trail Middle School is to have 75%(or
more:) of our Dads participating in some way through our WatchDOGS program.
What is WatchDOGS(and why is it always plural)?
First of all, for those of you who are unfamiliar, WatchDOGS is a program
where Dads participate on campus in various activities to provide an example
for their own students and to enhance the lives of those who need strong male
figures in their lives. Having dads around is an all-around awesome thing,
because each one of them makes the campus a little bit better. The D.O.G.S.
part of the name comes from the acronym for Dads Of Great Students. And, it
just so happens that it falls in rather nicely with our mascot. Its meant to
be:)
Who can sign up?
WatchDOGS is not just restricted to dads, but granddads, teachers and other
male figures in the lives of our kids that function in a positive manner within
their families and communities. If you are making a difference in the lives of
students, or desire to do so, please join the team.
