Enrollment for 2022-2023 now open

Online enrollment is now open for the 2022-2023 school year, and families can complete an easy 1-2-3 process for returning students to quickly register their children.

Enrollment is now open for all children – pre-kindergarten and up – whether they are currently enrolled, returning to the district after leaving or brand new to Northwest ISD. For families of currently enrolled students returning next year, the process will take just a few minutes with the following quick, three-step process:

  1. Log into Home Access Center and select the student to register near the top right corner of the page
  2. Select the “registration” icon at the top of the page and then click the “Update Enrollment” tab
  3. Click the word “Start” to access your child’s enrollment form, which will be pre-filled based on previously provided information

Families can provide proof of residency, which is required annually for all students, with any of the following documents:

  • Utility bill, preferred (electric, gas, water)
  • A current lease (for 30 days and then a utility bill)
  • Closing papers (within 30 days)

For new students, families can prepare several documents in advance, as they are required for every student. For returning students, only proof of residency is required annually, unless immunizations have been updated or other changes noted have occurred. Required documents include:

  • Student birth certificate (new students only)
  • Student social security number (new students only, if using their social security card)
  • Student immunization records (new students or if immunizations have been updated)
  • Legal guardian picture ID (new students or if a change has occurred)
  • Custody or legal documents regarding student (if applicable)
  • Most recent transcript or report card (new students, if available)

Enrolling your child as early as possible helps Northwest ISD better prepare for the coming school year with appropriate staffing and classroom creation. As a fast-growth district, families enrolling their children as soon as possible helps limit the amount of class balancing that will take place after the school year begins.
