Report an Absence

Please send an email to the Attendance Office  to let us know that your student will be absent for the day. We must have this information in writing.

If there is a discrepancy in the attendance the student should speak to the teacher to resolve this issue. The attendance office cannot change a teacher's attendance without receiving something in writing form the teacher.  

If the student was absent we need a note from parent or doctor otherwise it will stay in the system as Unexcused, even if you personally picked them up from school or called to advise about the absence.

As stated in our Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, family vacations, visits and personal situations, are not excusable absences or extenuating circumstances. These absences will be counted as unexcused absences regardless of the number of days missed.

Attendance records may be checked online in the Home Access Center.
